The good news is….

I went back for another ultrasound yesterday. I had to get another one to check the status of my ovarian cysts. The good news is that the one on my right ovary is gone. The one on my left ovary is still there but it did shrink just a little bit. So, maybe the new birth control is doing what it is supposed to do. I have to go back in four more weeks to get another ultrasound. If the cyst doesn’t shrink or go away and if it is still giving me bad pain, I am going to consider getting it removed via laparoscopy. I know, I know… sounds like fun right? It’s basically a simple procedure and it is definitely better than getting your stomach sliced open… Trust me – I know. I had a c-section when I had Noah. Not a bucket full of fun! Anyways, so that health issue seems to be looking positive… My friend kept telling me to think positive and it worked!

Remember I had signed up for classes about two weeks ago or so… Well, I finally was able to register for them. I am waiting for a check to come in the mail from my 401K plan to cover the additional costs beyond what my pell grant covered. That check should be in my mailbox today or tomorrow. YAY! Thank goodness I have my 401K plan in place or I would be up crap creek without a paddle for sure. I’m still a little anxious. Excited. Overwhelmed. I’m sure I will do just fine! My friend Ivette is also going to be taking classes. I wish her luck as well!!!! Go Elmo! We gotta show these people how it’s done girl!

Tomorrow!!!! Tomorrow is almost here! Tomorrow after work, the Flip Floppers are heading to Harbor Island for the weekend! It is going to be a fun time! I have to go home tonight and pack and get my stuff together and my gifts wrapped…. My gifts are so name appropriate! So much to do, so little time. I’m a huge procrastinator! I wait until the very last minute to get it together. I’ve got a short and elementary game planned and it will have a grand prize and a second place prize! YAY! The whole craft thing though – I was totally stumped….. I am by no means crafty. I looked in Wal-Mart and went to Michaels in Bluffton for ideas and well, I got nothing. Sorry girls! I didn’t get that gene passed on to me.

Well, that’s just a small update of my life…. Boring it may seem but it works for me! I’ll be back later to share more…. In the meantime, smile and stay cool!

Your Flip Flop trip sounds like a blast. Have fun with the girls.

Glad to hear your meds are working. Surgery is never fun.
